Job Description and Responsibilities:
KFNX is Arizona’s fastest growing radio station: the new home of the CBS Radio Network and Arizona Wildcats sports plus many of the biggest names in Talk Radio.
KFNX Radio is expanding its sales staff and has an immediate opening for a highly motivated and proven sales professional. If you’re an ambitious self-starter and aggressive media sales professional, then we’re looking for you! Don’t let the exciting world of media sales pass you by.
Other responsibilities include the preparation of sales proposals, completion of internal paperwork including weekly activities and other reports requested by the Sales Manager, and attending sales meetings as called for by the Sales Manager.
Comprehensive education and training will be provided by management. We also offer competitive compensation and fully paid health insurance. KFNX covers the entire Phoenix metro area, and beyond.
Qualifications:
The right candidate will have strong marketing, phone and presentation skills, be organized, detail-oriented and possess the desire to succeed.
You will meet and work with major players in the Phoenix Metro business community through prospecting and cold-calling, while developing, designing and presenting customized advertising solutions.
Candidates should possess an enthusiastic and positive attitude, strong written and oral communication skills, organizational and time management skills.
A car in working order, car insurance, and a valid driver’s license are required. The candidate must pass a drug test and a background check.
Applicant must have computer knowledge – including Social Media, Internet, Windows programs (or equivalent like Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Work Experience: Prior broadcast sales or outside sales experience preferred
Education: College degree a plus

Board Operator / Backup Production KFNX – NEW!
Job Description and Responsibilities:
KFNX Radio is expanding its operations and programming staff and has an immediate opening for a highly motivated professional. A Part Time (to possible Full Time) talk radio board operator and production assistant is needed to run radio shows for AM talk radio station.
1100 KFNX is Arizona’s Fastest Growing Radio Station: The new home of the ‘CBS Radio Network,’ and ‘Arizona Wildcats’ sports, plus many of the biggest names in Talk. KFNX covers the entire Phoenix metro area, and beyond.
Job Tasks include: running engineer board, answering phones, assisting hosts.
Other duties could include: voiceover work, backup production, loading and editing radio shows / commercials – radio related paperwork and affidavits, attending staff meetings, and other internal office reporting.
Comprehensive education and training will be provided by management.
Qualifications:
Applicant must have technical skills, audio editing comprehension, and computer knowledge; Adobe Audition knowledge preferred
(including Internet, Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.)
Video production / editing and Social Media skills a bonus, but not necessary to apply
Candidates should possess an enthusiastic and positive attitude, be organized, and communicate well on-air and in written form.
